Summer Relief Trip Update

We're getting excited! In just a couple of weeks, 5 of us will be leaving for the Gulf Coast to continue CSF's committment to hurricane relief work. Our plans have changed a little, and this time we have decided to head about an hour further down the coast and work in Slidell, Louisiana (an eastern suburb of New Orleans) instead.

As we are starting to gather all the supplies that we need, making our final preparations, and trying to raise the rest of our support, there are a number of things that we would appreciate prayers for:

*friendships to develop among our team (some members haven't met yet!)
*for God to prepare our hearts and minds for the things we are going to see and the people we are going to meet
*for full financial support for our trip to come in
*for the homeowners that we are going to work with, that we will be able to help them and be an encouragement to them in very real ways, and that they will see God in and through us
